In May 2024, I spent a day with Emily Grohovsky from Cedar Hill Gardens. We visited her clients’ homes, and I photographed as she tended to the gardens. I created a collection of twenty-three paintings based on our day together. This body of work is a reflection of Emily’s work, sharing how to grow and tend a garden and the joy that comes from being outside and working with your hands.
